Mindfulness is defined as “paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally, with kindness, as if your life depended on it” (Jon Kabat-Zinn).

‘Mindfulness for Christians’ takes this further and deepens our God awareness.

Who is this for?

This course is for you if you would like to feel calmer, improve your wellbeing, memory and concentration and feel closer to God.

If you’re currently suffering from high levels of stress or you have an active mental health condition, check with us before you sign up, as other courses may be more suitable for you.

What problems does it address?

Do you feel distracted? Do you find it difficult to focus on the moment you’re in? The world we live is constantly distracted and bomboarding our attention. Often, we can spend far too much of our time worrying about the future or going over the past. The Mindfulness Course will help you to be truly present and to enjoy life right here, right now.

What will life look like afterwards?

When practised regularly, mindfulness helps you to feel calmer, less stressed out, and closer to God and His presence. It will help you pay attention to the Holy Spirit and stay focussed on His Word.

How does it work?

Mindfulness is essentially a skill that takes regular practice to become proficient. Outside the main sessions, the Course will guide you through a 20 to 30-minute daily practice, 6 or 7 times a week. This is essential for its benefits to become ingrained into your behaviour.
